sit/sat, fit/fat…. Learning Language

Today we were packing away toys and I noticed C. trying out new word patterns. When putting something away,  I commented that I wasn’t sure it would fit, and when it went in, C. cried “It fat, it fat!”

It’s amazing to see him trying out new patterns in his speach.

An interesting news story recently was that the brain stores nouns and verbs in different parts of the brain. A’s noun section must be growing incredibly fast right now. His favourite books are name books. I say the name of the picture and he repeats it. He asks about the names of things all day long!

I love watching that learning. “It’s like wittnessing a miracle” =D
